Dr. Karlissa Wise, DSW, LCSW-C is the Founder and Owner of Wise Counseling & Consultation, LLC. Dr. Wise created her business in 2020 to provide individual, group, and couples therapy services. Dr. Wise has 9 years of experience as a social worker. She has worked in various roles which included school social work and Child Protective Services.
 
Dr. Wise has conducted research on the safety of child welfare workers. She has two published peer viewed articles titled Child Protective Services Workers and Supervisor Respones to Unsafe Home Visit Experiences and How Do Child Protective Service (CPS) Policies Keep Employees Safe: A Case Worker's Perspective.
 
Dr. Wise earned her Bachelor of Social Work degree and Master of Social Work degree from Monmouth University. She earned a Doctor of Social Work degree from Tulane University.
