Dr. Karen Stallings has been a licensed clinician for over 25 years. She has had the privilege of working with all types of people in various settings. It has been an amazing journey. Dr.K is committed to empowering believers to prioritize their mental health. She is dedicated to helping people understand their faith can help them heal. One cannot just pray away the traumas they have endured. The traumas, or wounds must be processed and healed. The journey to wholeness often includes both an impactful Worship service and clinical interventions. Dr.K teaches we are three parts, body, soul and spirit. Within our soul lies our intellect, our will and our emotions. God is concerned about the health of our soul.
Heal My Wounded Place is dedicated to empowering people to heal the wounds we cannot see. Dr. K equips every client with tools and strategies to heal the wounds of their soul. Our services include individual, group, family, couples, and marriage counseling, healing summits and retreats.
Dr. K is an author and regularly facilitates workshops and seminars. She is a frequent conference speaker sharing her expertise and knowledge surrounding the merging of faith and mental health.
Dr. K received her Masters in Social Science form Byrn Mawr College anher Doctorate of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy Studies from Eastern University in Philadelphia Pennsylvania.
