Jennifer Layman is a speaker, author, and strategist for small businesses. For 20 years, she has led Forward Thinking Consulting, working with businesses and entrepreneurially minded organizations to develop strategies that drive the results they want—and more. Her first book, Forward Thinking for Your Business, is a go-to guide on the marketing challenges small business owners face every day—and how to solve them. She has worked with hundreds of business owners, from solopreneurs to multi-million-dollar operations, identifying ways to seize opportunities and deliver outcomes that make the competition irrelevant.

Uniquely positioned to create strategies that get results, Jennifer draws on her experience in professional golf to bring elite performance techniques to small business owners around the world. She earned her degree in communications from Campbell University in North Carolina while competing as a member of the NCAA Division I golf team. Her golf résumé includes winning the Big South Conference Championship and being part of a team that made university athletics history.

After turning pro, she competed on the Canadian Women’s Professional Tour and in numerous other professional events. Her golf experience provided the training ground to compete in the business world and deliver strategic solutions for businesses and organizations striving to excel in their fields.

Her golf clubs are always in the car—and so is a collection of business audiobooks. She is a member of the National Speakers Association, an NLP practitioner, a sports psychology peak performance graduate, and the winner of multiple professional and business book awards.
