Garth Clarke is well-known when it comes to working with young people. He is the founder of Ballistic Ballers CIC, a unique youth education and mentoring company, that brings training and experiences to young people from disadvantaged backgrounds, across the UK.

Having grown up himself in Tottenham, North London, and experiencing the daily battle of trying to survive the system, while having to navigate the many elements within society, the police, other groups of boys, peer pressure, territory wars and economic hardships, to name a few, he managed to come through all of that and was blessed enough to be given some opportunities that took him to different places, around different people, where he gained some new knowledge, learned some new information ( information that they don’t or won’t teach the children at school ) and he vowed that one day he would bring back that knowledge, bring back that information and give to the young people. And now through Ballistic Ballers CIC, that’s what he is doing.

He knows that sports has the power to transform lives and empower young people to thrive in our communities. By engaging young people through sport and with his passion for financial literacy, his mission is to empower them to excel both on and off the field. By combining the discipline, teamwork, and determination learned through sports, with the knowledge and skills to make informed financial decisions, the young people will have the tools they need to succeed in all aspects of life, and to stay away from negative or destructive influences.

He is the author of the book “The Best of You” published in 2018, also the host of “Table for 4”, the podcast which deals with youth issues.
