Ethan Hutcheson
Neuroscience and Fitness Coach
Ethan Hutcheson is a performance coach, journalist, and emerging thought leader at the intersection of fitness and neuroscience. Certified through NASM in personal training, nutrition, and corrective exercise, and trained in neuroscience through Holisitico, Ethan brings a dual-lens approach to coaching, one that integrates brain-centered strategies with strength and performance applications to drive effective, sustainable change. His methodology blends neuropsychology, behavioral science, and movement to help individuals rewire their thinking while optimizing their physical health.
Ethan’s path to mind-body mastery was shaped by a difficult childhood marked by trauma, injustice, and mental health struggles. Later, a devastating low back injury while preparing for a powerlifting competition reignited his pursuit of healing. Nearly a year of pain, stiffness, and anxiety led to a realization: it was unacceptable to live in this state forever. He dove into the study of the body and brain, determined to train his way out of chronic pain and into resilience. He came to understand that performance isn't just about what the body can do, it’s about how the mind leads. This revelation became the foundation of a coaching framework that is both brain-savvy and body-intelligent.
Today, Ethan helps clients break mental blocks, implement lasting habits, and unlock physical and psychological strength through a lens of purposeful alignment. He developed the “Zoom Out, Zoom In Method,” a signature approach using intentional dissociation to help clients differentiate between their will and their want, empowering them to act with clarity, not just motivation.
Ethan’s mission is to help others train smarter, think clearer, and live stronger, inside and out.
