Effie Mitskopoulos
Social Worker Psychotherapist and Coach
Effie Mitskopoulos, founder of Soul Body Healer, is a Social Worker, Holistic Psychotherapist, coach, co-author, and speaker dedicated to transforming lives through integrative healing practices. With degrees in Psychology and Biology and a Master’s in Social Work specializing in Mental Health, Effie blends her extensive education with diverse certifications, including Hypnotherapy (C.Hyp), Spiritual Coaching, Yoga, and Reiki Mastery.
Effie's passion focuses on helping women overcome mental health challenges and create lives of joy and fulfillment. With over 15 years of experience and a personal journey of transformation, she has mastered the techniques that helped her heal and now shares these powerful tools with others. Diagnosed with depression, anxiety, and ADHD as a teen, Effie faced negative mood, low self-esteem, toxic relationships, and dead-end jobs. Her breakthrough came from daily practices of mindfulness, yoga, and healing through hypnosis and Reiki. This holistic approach allowed her to break free from negativity, embrace self-love, find clarity, and manifest her dreams. Today, Effie enjoys a loving family, a meaningful career, and a supportive community.
Her commitment to helping others is rooted in her own healing journey, where she discovered that powerful healing encompasses the mind, body, and soul. Effie integrates Western psychotherapeutic interventions with holistic practices. She has trained extensively in Mindfulness, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, as well as in trauma, addictions, and the integration of spirituality and neuroscience into psychotherapy. This unique blend allows her to help women overcome stress, depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, chronic pain, addiction, and trauma to build meaningful lives.
As a co-author of three books- On Her Plate, Dear Time: Are You On My Side?, and Her Art of Surrender- Effie writes on mindfulness topics that enhance women's well-being. She has also been featured in multiple interviews and has spoken at the Mind Body Spirit Women's Summit, sharing her expertise on holistic psychotherapy and wellness. She also has a special interest in the science of spirituality and integrates this into her Reiki training and speaking engagements.
Beyond individual psychotherapy, Effie offers a 12-week transformational group program designed to help women develop the skills to create a life they love. This coaching program integrates her extensive knowledge and personal experience, empowering participants to manage distressing thoughts and emotions, achieving a peaceful mind and a fulfilling life.
Effie's vision is the upliftment of humanity, fostering a space where people feel whole, well, and free to express their unique gifts, thereby creating a more harmonious world. She provides a compassionate environment where deep emotions are released, and healthy thought and behavior patterns are established, guiding individuals towards happier, more meaningful lives.
