Functional Naturopath

Born and raised in Southern Africa, Camilla was immersed in a rich tapestry of nature's diversity and vitality from an early age.

Certified Naturopath (C-002680) by the Portuguese National Health system and Functional Medicine practitioner (IFM). Member of both the ANP (Association of Naturopathic Practitioners) and GNC (General Naturopathic Council), Camilla is insured by Balens, and additionally Ambassador for CNM (College of Naturopathic Medicine).

Camilla’s approach to wellness is rooted in a strong scientific foundation and is guided by the principles of Ayurvedic medicine. She completed an apprenticeship under Michele Po, a respected Ayurvedic practitioner in Portugal.

Camilla has an extensive background in toxicology, gained through many years of pharmacy work. She has collaborated closely with integrative medical doctors, Naturopaths, Osteopaths and Functional medicine practitioners.

Her holistic approach to healing has been further shaped by her studies with Ecuadorean shaman and ethnobotanist Rocio Alarcon, who taught Camilla how to help treat abdominal and pelvic conditions from a shamanic perspective.

Herbalist Daisy Mae and Naturopath João Beles have also influenced Camilla's work, particularly in the area of medical herbalism.

Camilla remains committed to staying current with emerging health research, particularly regarding the efficacy of botanicals and orthomolecular nutrition therapy, and has therefore continued her studies as a Functional Medicine practitioner and is a member of the Functional Medicine Institute.

For the last 4 years, Camilla has led the Coach House Spa, Beaverbrook, where she offers Functional Naturopathic counselling, Hyperbaric Oxygen therapy, gives talks and workshops on natural health, creates bespoke IV infusion programs, and offers holistic healing journeys that include breathwork, meditation, cacao and sound healing.
