She thought she understood the human body and what it meant to be healthy until her personal health journey with Hashimoto's taught her about nutrition, lifestyle, wellness, and more. This led her to dedicate her life to helping others through research-based personalized nutrition. Brandi founded Functionally Autoimmune, the home of the Gut Health Academy and personalized nutrition resources, to help others live healthy lives. She has written self-help books on the topic and many scientific articles and publications related to her autoimmune and gut health expertise. Brandi is also a certified olive oil sommelier and founded Cesira Olio D'Oliva, a high-quality, sustainable Italian olive oil brand, to teach others the health powers of this ancient ingredient. Her mission: Everyone deserves to be healthy.
