Alycia is an outspoken NuYorican (Puerto Rican born in New York), deeply connected to her Caribbean culture and currently reconnecting to her indigenous Taino lineage. Born in 1993 she had the best of both worlds with a little technology and a lot of time away from screens.

She grew up in musical theatre and singing in the chorus but when it came to life off of the stage, she was afraid to use her voice.

She was the shy quiet kid, and as she got older she became the people pleaser who was scared to speak her truth, set boundaries, and let people know when they’ve hurt her.

On top of that she also struggled with various illnesses from when I was born up until her late teens. Born with a weak immune system, battling asthma, and digestive problems, her teen years only added another layer to her struggles: the onset of dysmenorrhea and heavy menstruation. These, combined with depression and fatigue, made daily life an uphill battle. The first lowest point came when she was 19, barely eating, and the scales tipped to a meager 86lbs, jolting her awake. Alycia decided she couldn't live this way anymore. The journey to self-healing had begun.

Determined, she embraced fitness becoming a personal trainer, overhauled her diet, and delved into the worlds of yoga, meditation, and mindfulness. As she transitioned away from hormonal birth control and its side effects, she began to question the medical systems that had always told her she was "fine.”

Alycia spent a lot of her life hating her body, resenting being a woman, and not understanding what her purpose here was.

As she journeyed through the fitness industry she came across many clients struggling to feel happy, to have purpose, and who felt very disconnected to themselves. This led her to studying at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition to become a health coach where she learned how to hold space for others, guide meditation, coach on nutrition, and teach breath-work practices.

Alycia's Credentials:

Bachelor of Liberal Arts - Concentration in Sociology - Purchase College - 2016
Certified Personal Trainer - National Federation of Professional Trainers - 2016
Certified in Prenatal + Postpartum Fitness - The American Academy of Health and Fitness - 2017
Certified Functional Movement Specialist - Fit + Functional - 2018
Certified Integrative Nutrition Health Coach - Institute of Integrative Nutrition - 2019
Menstrual Cycle Awareness - Your Cycle Aligned Life by Spirit Woman Sisterhood - 2020
Published Author in Collaboration with Others - "Heart Centered Leadership" (available on amazon) - 2022
IMH-C Certified Women's Hormone Health Coach - Institute for Menstrual Health - 2023

Through the use of herbs, diet, movement, meditation, prayer, and other mindfulness practices, Alycia healed her dysmenorrhea, heavy bleeding, and the chronic fatigue that plagued her for years, became lighter. It was through her being able to develop a relationship to her womb, her voice, reconnect to the ways of her indigenous ancestors, and her menstrual health, that Alycia was able to hear the voice of Creator more clearly. She was finally able to tap into the wisdom of her body.

When she's not facilitating and running the business, she's usually dancing, hiking, adventuring into nature, jamming to music, writing poetry, freestyling over some hip hop beats, cooking up in the kitchen, or spending time with loved ones.

Ultimately, Alycia knows that the mission she is carrying out is bigger than her. She is divinely guided by Creator to show up in service to others because she knows what it’s like to feel lost. Alycia will continue to make it her mission to help activate empowerment and healing in others. Through her 1:1 work and workshops combined, she has coahed around 100 women thus far.
